You're going to love our Montana Golf Course

One of Wilderness Club’s most esteemed amenities is its golf course. Sir Nick Faldo, three-time winner of The Masters and the British Open, teamed with renowned golf course architects Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley to design the acclaimed layout, rated #1 by Golfweek when the magazine reviewed Montana golf communities. Measuring 7,207 yards from the back tees and 5,431 yards from the forward tees, it can be quite challenging for the low handicapper playing from the tips, yet very friendly to the higher handicapper. Spectacular views of the Canadian Rockies, Whitefish Mountain Range and Purcell Mountain Range are enjoyed from almost every hole on the Montana golf course, while three man-made ponds and three natural lakes are a haven for thousands of Painted Turtles. Distinguished from other Montana golf courses by having several holes along a lake stocked with over 4,000 rainbow trout, the award-winning Nick Faldo layout is one owners find rewarding to play again and again.

“I’ve been struck by the sheer vastness of the Montana landscape on each of my visits to Wilderness Club, and now that our 18 holes have taken shape, I believe the style of course we have created perfectly compliments the awe-inspiring surroundings. The gently rolling topography and the sandy terrain, sprinkled as it frequently is by attractive pine trees, makes for an interesting mix of woodland and links-style qualities – and insures a truly diverse golfing experience. Our design is characterized by an array of strategic choices that challenge, inspire and appeal to golfers of all abilities. With this emphasis on thoughtful golf and a design approach that has been extremely sympathetic to preserving the existing character of this wonderful sight, I’m confident that our layout at Wilderness Club will stand comparison with some of the most memorable courses in the country.
